Nice little campground to stay at. A beautiful mountain steam that flows along side the camp site adds a nice touch, good place to kick back and listen to the mountain stream and relax wether solo or with family and friends. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire pit with a metal grate which is nice when there isn't a burn ban in effect, also the bathrooms are usually kept fairly clean.
Went camping for 3 days and it was wonderful! This campground has places to go hike to you can fish or sit around camp and enjoy. We went for a little walk about dinner time and saw a little bear(200# ish) lol!! There is water here the bathroom was a bathroom! Lol we had a lot of fun! The creek is a little loud but hey good to have the water! Go enjoy it was fun we had never heard of the loomis state forest but hey that’s what the sign says!
Check this one out . This is a hidden gem in Loomis State Forest . Awesome views great creek yes fish included lol. This camp has it all wheelchair accessible bathrooms fresh water tables fire grates . Also theres wildlife from bats to bears yes bears. No worries they kept there distance . BEST OF ALL WE WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE. WASHINGTON AT ITS FINEST
My favorite campground. Great place to sit back and relax. Absolutely love the sound of the freezing cold creek flowing by.
The site does not charge fees half of the camping spots are right on the creek
