Closed now, but you can still walk in. It is a gorgeous place. Magical with no one there. We saw a moose meandering through. My son loved it too. Lots of running and visiting river islands and banks. Family members report the bathrooms aren't usually very clean (closed right now, so I don't know) and some spots can be a little small.
The road to get there is a bit rough and dirt, but SOO worth it!! Such a beautiful place! Sites are pretty good sized. Has a picnic table and firepit with a partial lid for grilling. We even had room to set up our 10x10 canopy Outhouse isn't horrible, but it is an outhouse! *Womens ran out of toilet paper our last day... make sure to bring your own, as we had, just in case! * ;) There is a creek that runs by the campground, very peaceful. We even saw a Momma and Baby Moose down by the creek, then the next day walking through the campground.
An amazing place to be for camping. Enclosed and peaceful. Will be returning for some camping again soon.
This place is a gem, we stayed a week and it was so sad to leave!
12 campsites next to a creek (spot 8 is best). Secluded and quiet. No power or water, but it does have vaulted toilets.
