North River Glamping

The property itself has 360 degree views of wildflowers and blue skies. The tents are durable (it rained while we were here and we did not get wet) and very cozy. There is also an outdoor kitchen (fridge, hot plates for cooking, freezer, etc), and bathrooms with showers. This property has some of the best amenities we've experienced while camping and the host was very helpful, friendly, and responsive! We will definitely be back.

If you like camping, you're going to love this place. My wife and I love tent camping and decided to book here for our anniversary. This is definitely camping with an upgrade. The tents are huge and comfortable. They have beds with very comfortable mattresses. We both had a great night's sleep. The bathrrom/shower house is fantastic. There are 3 separate bathrooms with showers. Plenty of hot water and everything you need to get cleaned up, including a nice bath robe. The outdoor kitchen and dining area are very nice and had everything we needed to cook two meals. (We brought our own groceries but the host is willing to get what you need upon request) Our host, Bess was amazing. She is very kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would recommend staying here for anyone who loves camping. Even if camping isn't normally your thing, I think anyone would enjoy it as a fun little adventure.

I love being in nature, however, I don't love sleeping on the ground. No problem at North River Ranch! You can spend your days exploring this beautiful property and evenings sitting around the camp fire and still get to sleep in a actual bed with really nice linens. I really came to appreciate the large glamping tent one rainy morning. Our family of four was very comfortable hanging out in the tent reading and playing games. We had plenty of space and stayed very dry. If we were in a traditional camping tent, I am sure we would have been cramped and wet! In addition to the well appointed tents and beautiful landscape, you have your own private bathroom pod with flushing toilet, hot shower and sink. There is a large shared kitchen that is under a open structure. A great place to hang out, cook meals, and connect with other glampers. The host (Bess) is wonderful. She has put a lot of hard work into making this a special place. She made us fresh coffee and muffins, and made sure that we had everything we needed to have a peaceful and enjoyable weekend. Great place for a romantic weekend or to enjoy with the whole family. I can't wait to go back and hopefully bring some friends.

My kids and I truly enjoyed the stay at North River Ranch immensely. Bess was so kind, and made everything easy and comfortable. The amenities, extra supplies, bedding, and grounds were exceptional. We especially appreciated the great water pressure in the showers, and cleanliness of the bathrooms. The property took our breath away as we watched the sunset over the fire, and then again as we watched the fields sway in the wind when waking up in the early morning. The little touches of native wild flowers on the table in the common ground, and carefully selected furniture for the tents made it even more delightful. The kids and I needed this so much, and I am so happy I happened upon this glamping experience. We will definitely be coming back to visit again. Bess should be excited that two teenagers would want to come back to any experience that involves no technology. Not to say that there wasn't Internet, because that was also impeccable! Overall, huge hit and perfect getaway.

Beautiful and peaceful stay. Community kitchen was wonderful and private bathrooms were super clean and convenient.
