A carousel a spot to ride the boats out on the lake if you want to (pay to rent a swan or a pelican to ride around) if I'm correct, it was $5 for the swan and $10 for the pelican. Not bad price at all for 30 minutes. $1 for the carousel. Really clean Park, working bathrooms. Friendly stuff all around awesome experience."

I really adore this place being a fan of nature, but I come for the birds in particular. I have been lucky enough to spot the Bald Eagles in the sanctioned area of the space, and have also seen hawks and turkey vultures among many smaller common birds. A wonderful place for a walk, or a drive, or a picnic. It's kind on the eyes and certainly worth visiting. I recommend checking the Standley Lake Eagle Cam if you are interested in seeing the Eagles and their nest! There are currently no eaglets in the nest but you might spot an adult sitting in frame. Good luck and have fun!! PS, these photos belong to me and are subject to copyright, but please enjoy observing them!

first time here. Looks awesome. Lots of camping spots. Tent, trailer camping and you can also rent keepers. Boating is allowed. Also rent watercraft. Fishing is allowed, I was told they do stock the waters. Have bbq grills and fire pits. Hey have port-a-potys and main bathrooms. Lots of tables next to the store line. Have horse shoe game and valley ball but you have to bring your own equipment.

Beautiful nature area! The park is clean and well maintained and the prices were very reasonable. It was $7 for entry and a two hour canoe rental was only $20. I rented a canoe with my kids and we went around the west side of the lake for some bird watching. We even had a bald eagle fly about 15 feet overhead, which was every bit as awesome as it sounds! We will definitely be coming back here.
