We’ve been checking out more lakes in the area and this one has so many unique areas. They have a main swim beach but many other areas to swim and paddleboard. Camp site had great views and were clean with showers. Everyone was respectful. Ironically sunset beach proved to be awesome. What a sunset!!!
we had site number 42 by the reservoir. It was a beautiful sunset. I would stay there again. There is limited shade. The bathrooms were very well kept.
Had a great time swimming and camping with the kids. Cute prairie dogs in the campground. Could be a five-star experience if the water didn't smell like sulfur.
Beautiful state park on a bluff. Sites all have picnic tables with metal shelters. Electric only. Water available scattered around campground. Poor cell service with Verizon. No data in most places. Great sunset viewing. Bathrooms and showers are clean and with good water pressure.
Me and my husband went for a 3 day weekend. It was nice and sunny and hot! There unfortunately was am algae bloom. We didn't get to do any fishing. The bathrooms were clean and the drive there was not bad at all. Nice place overall, we will do it again.
