Never actually checked out this park until recently, and I've lived in the area my entire life. But the trails here are very well marked. Pet friendly, horses are welcome! Tons of trails pretty cool scenery. There is actually a lodge you can rent for events and such. Sledding in the winter time is great.
Great park for the kids. It's very clean, spacious with nice trails. Not really wheelchair accessible unless it has hybrid tires. If you have a wheelchair, there's space to enter the playground at the parking lot, you can wheel up to the picnic bench but that's about it because of the mulch.
I was only here for a cross-country meet and realized this park is way bigger than I realized. After getting lost, trying to find the entrance I needed. That detour showed me many more scenic area where people had picnics and chairs set up to enjoy the view. It's definitely a beautiful park with lots of areas to explore
Northampton Park has a variety of amenities, including multiple playgrounds, a model plane field, a sledding hill, open fields, accommodations for equestrian use, lodges for events, and trails. It doesn't have the spit and polish of some parks, but it is free and easily accessible. It's a great place to take the kids to use some of that extra energy!
This is a wonderful park! Tons of trails you can walk, bike or horse back ride. There is a small stream and a playground for the kids
