Northgate RV Travel Park

This was a great 1 night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet. Easy access off Hwy 65. Will definitely stay again on our way through.

Great overnight place with full hookups including 50 amp service. We arrived with low voltage issues and Wes (owner) stepped in and saved the day by helping us with our problem. Great honest guy with a wonderful sense of customer service. Highly recommend Northgate for your overnight stay.

Perfect for an overnight stopover, owners are very hospitable. Sights are reasonably level and are crushed stone. All utilities work as they should, we were cautioned about the city water pressure, and told to use a regulator. Looking forward to the aviary and the homing or racing pigeons. Good luck.

Not a bad place to overnight. Donkeys were fun to watch. Things to improve: 1. The trees need to be trimmed and perhaps some of the turns widened for big rigs. Even turning at full available width, we still scraped a tree with our 48' fifth wheel making one of the turns 2. Electric pedestals too close to the ground 3. Sewer connections far at the rear of the sites should ideally be located further forward. 4. Sites weren't very level, but doable with blocks. 5. Online booking would help to make selecting an appropriate site and paying for it easier for both the customers and the owner. The owner mentioned he is hard of hearing and maybe that's why some others have had some communication issues with him. If it were all online it would avoid the potential for those issues. We didn't have any problems though, but requiring cash in 2024 is definitely odd. 6. Noticed a random Shiba Inu dog that walks around and poops in the sites...

*This is a stop-for-the-night-to-sleep spot, NOT a campground- grill - let the kids run about* Full hookups at each spot that are tidy and fully functional = 5 stars The sites are large, level, and pull thru = 5 stars The check in and out was easy = 5 stars The overnight fee was appropriate($45 at the time of this writing) = 5 stars The noise level was acceptable, not quiet enough to hear wildlife, but the interstate noise was minimal, and the other campers were very respectful and kept noise down as they arrived = 5 stars The access to the interstate was handy. The turn in and the turn out were a little hairy, a common level of difficulty = 5 stars Again for those in the back - it is a stop and sleep for the night spot! No bathhouse, no parties, no picnic tables, no rowdy play area, and no golf carts. Which was EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. I JUST WANT TO STOP AND SLEEP IN PEACE AND THIS WAS PERFECT!!!!!
