Northstar Campground

We have been coming to Northstar for the last 4 years at least twice a year. They are normally our first trip and last trip of the season. Our experience has always been great! It is "minimalistic" wooded campground, which we love. They have fun theme weekends but we prefer the quiet ones. Their river sites are pretty awesome, their group sites are pretty huge. They have always let me know which sites will be tight for our camper. The staff has always been wicked awesome to deal with. We will be back again and again!

This place is great and we will definitely be returning. New owners within the last couple years from the brief conversations and interactions I had with them during our visit. They really care that their visitors have a good time and the grounds are kept up. The area is remote but not too far from an urbanized area to grab supplies and things for your camp. Beautiful scenery. We camped in early October on one of the riverfront sites.

The owners are such nice people, and their staff are always busy making the campground look and function at its absolute best. Sites along the Sugar River are spacious, clean, and equipped with a well-maintained picnic table, fire ring, and plenty of trees for a bit of privacy. These sites cannot be seasonal sites, so weekend guests can enjoy access to the river during their stay. Seasonal sites are also spacious, with full hookups and parking. picnic table and fire rings are provided on each site and weekend trash collection is included. This isn't your "resort style" campground experience, and that's what we LOVE about Northstar Campground. Kids get to play outside and meet up in the field for games, to ride bikes, to visit the pond to catch (and release) salamanders. Kids can also enjoy planned activities hosted by Northstar on various weekends throughout the season.

On a New England adventure from KY and decided to visit New Hampshire from Vermont on the way to Massachusetts and found this gem of a campground centerly located allowing us to venture out during the two days and explore. The owners were amazing and very accommodating. The campground was perfect and very private and tree lined. It was very well maintained and it was obvious that it was a labor of love for the owners. Great wireless and phone service and hot showers! Our Zoey 🐾 loved her walks around the beautiful pond, creek and campground. Highly recommend! Thanks for the memories, we will definitely be back!

First time at Northstar Campground. It was awesome, definitely going back! Hosts Cayna and Chad were so nice! In fact Chad helped us out with issues we had with our truck and camper. Site was so spacious, clean bathrooms, the river at your door....peaceful and serene. Other campers were respectful including their dogs which our dog loved. The whole campground was very well kept and the hiking trail...nice bonus! Loved watching the fish get fed at the pond! Thank you for a wonderful time!
