We stayed 3 nights in Campground #3. Outstanding camp site operated by S. Dakota Game Fish and Parks. Highly recommended. Very clean and friendly staff. Very nice modern and ADA restrooms with showers. Easy access to fishing water via boat or shoreline. Many activities to include rifle and pistol range as well as camper dump station. Only 6 miles to Ft Pierre and shopping. Only about $25/night.
This is a great place with 3 separate campgrounds. Nice and well kept. My only concern is the speeds people drive in the campground. This includes the staff. There is only one dump station with 2 spots for 200 campsites so expect to wait in line to dump.
Spacious campsites and the most beautiful setting in the Missouri River Valley. Lots of great nature/bike trails and wildlife to see. Fall here is the Best!

Campgrounds 1 and 2 are pretty well shaded in most spots, well kept and staff are friendly and eager to answer questions.
Stayed in the modern cabins, the cabin was nice very modern. The full kitchen was a huge plus. We will be staying here in the future.
Beautiful campgrounds with tall trees and lots of wildlife! Definitely worth the visit!
