Not a well advertised RV park, so there were only two of us staying there, and it's off-season. I stayed here in mid-October. Very quite, you heard faint noises from the highway nearby and a gravel yard a mile away during the daytime. Navy jets fly by occasionally during the day, too. The bathrooms were basic but very clean. It looked like they recently remodeled the park with a new restroom and showers. No bugs or cobwebs. The showers are like the public pools where you have to push a button every 30 seconds to keep it running. Some sites are not level as mentioned in earlier comments, but we were happy with our site. Very layed back place. No camp host. No discounts of any kind, just the flat rate of $50 for full hookups. Don't forget to check out the historic fish hatchery next door. It's a very beautiful place. See my included photo.
Creekside RV park is part of the Native American Reservation. A beautiful location with amazing views of the eastern Sierras. Sites have tight turns due to rather narrow roads, which is a bit challenging for bigger RVs to get in and out. Also, some sites have significant drops to get out of due to the angle of the exit ramp. Basically, the sites and park were designed by someone who has never driven a large RV. However, with care, it is all doable. The 20 row is shaded, and the lower numbers are fully in the sun. It gets hot as this is the desert, but this is an interesting area with natural attractions like the Alabama Hills close by. It is also very close to the Manzanar Historical site. The cost was $50 total for each night. Check-in is at the travel plaza store. We had called for a reservation, but they have poor records and had difficulty finding my reservation. Then, they gave me one of the only sites already occupied. Disorganized, to say the least. However, service at check-in was very good. Note that they do keep hookups locked and then send someone to unlock. (This was done promptly, though.) I would recommend this campground as it is a good location, the facilities are new and the staff was pleasant.
When we are on the road and just need a place to sleep, I'm always most interested in checking out the bathrooms. These were way better than other campgrounds I've stayed at. Pretty utilitarian but new and clean, and it has a great shower, too. Beautiful view of the mountains. We will definitely need to come back and spend more time in the area.
