A nice little campground along the river. Quieter than some of the others because it is too small for trailers. Nice clean bathrooms and great views! The cliff across the river also provides shade earlier in the afternoon (in March) than at the Big Bend Campground.
Feel so lucky to be here off season and enjoying this beautiful campground!!! Located on the Colorado River and nestled in beautiful red rocks. No hook ups. Vault toilets. $20
We got into Moab around midnight and visited three campsites before we found a single open spot here. The road was very close and traffic could be heard all night and morning. Vehicles over 22 feet were not permitted in this campground. Camp site #2 was a back in spot that overlooked the Colorado River. The view here was amazing and the sound of the river was very peaceful.
Sounds of the colorado river sooth you through the night. Great views, a road is close but its not used much at night. 15$ a night. No water, outhouse style pooper, fire ring and picnic table. The arches national park is usually full so this is a nice alternative.
Sites 5-7 are complete shade which is rare along the river. There's a hidden site 4 below them that is often the last reserved when it's busy.
