10/10, highly recommend. We were at Oak Grove for the season, and we met some of the best people we have ever met. The campground is beautiful, the town is so laid back, and I'm sure if you ever have a need, there will be someone that can help. ❤️
Paid for the month, notified the owner I was going to another job ten days before check out. Didn't request any money back. I got a $45 electric bill after I left. Don't think it's very neighborly that I paid for the whole month, left early and he got $230 extra for the time I wasn't there. Then had the nerve to send me the electricity bill. Won't be staying here again when I'm back in the area for work.
Be forewarned they do NOT guarantee any specific site. We had preselected a site but when we arrived, there was a ginormous RV parked on it. Management said "oh, they decided to stay longer, you can take the site next to it." We have a small teardrop. And on the other side, was a fifth wheeler. So we were sandwiched between behemoths. I was not a happy camper for those 2 nights. Especially with all the barking dogs all night and feral cats roaming for scrap food. The overlook on the pond (don't swim in it!) was lovely, but stay away from the small sandy beach because the feral cats use it as a litter box. One and only positive, the restrooms and showers were very clean.
My wife and I have stayed twice at Oak Grove. It is a small family oriented RV park. They have clean restroom, shade, peace & quiet, a fishing and swimming pond, and a pavilion. Work was started this year on an in ground pool and hot tub. The Gallagher’s are absolutely wonderful people. As long as my wife and I continue to go to the Carson City, Michigan area to see family and friends we will stay at this park. Mike Baker
Jeff is a really great guy and would always try to help when needed. The campground was quiet and every site was perfectly placed. Highly recommend!
The owners are friendly and helpful. The campground has added 30 new sites and are putting in a swimming pool and hot tub.
The time at this campground was amazing met forever family love the owner and his whole family. Can not wait to come stay again. Probably my favorite little slice of heaven.
Very nice campground. Lots of upgrades. Cute place for a barn wedding. Has a very nice patio overlooking a gorgeous pond.
