Oak Hammock Resort

Came in from Southern Illinois to this cute little gem. The owners are extremely nice and the place is a hidden little gem. Everyone there is very nice. It is quiet, relaxing place to stay with beautiful sunsets. The cabins are very clean and decorated very cute. I would definitely recommend this place for a great vacation. Thanks for a relaxing week.

I hate to brag too much about how great this campground is for the fear of not being able to get a spot next time we come this way! The website is an accurate representation of the resort. Great management, and a well kept property. We might book a cabin next time. Thanks for a great weekend!

My daughter happened to discover this hidden gem, while looking for a cabin to take me to,for my birthday! And my goodness, what a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing sanctuary, we found in the Oak Hammock Resort! Cheryl and Bob have done an amazing job at making each cabin feel cozy, and quaint, with all the amenities of home! Each cabin has a theme, and ours was a retro theme in Cabin 3, which I absolutely adored! There is a stocked lake for catch and release fun, or you can try your luck in beautiful Lake Pierce, off the dock, or rent one of their canoes, or kayak. I caught a nice little bass right off the end of the dock! The game room is awesome, after a day of fishing, to cool off and shoot some pool or watch a movie on the big TV! The grounds are well kept and just beautiful! There are plenty of books in the game room, and a hammock around the next corner, for a lazy afternoon read. I could go on and on about Oak Hammock Resort, but I think you should book your next get away, or Florida Staycation, right there at Oak Hammock so you can discover this hidden treasure for yourself! I personally cannot wait to return!!!!

My family and friends were in Lake Wales for my wedding and everyone was thrilled that the planner discovered Oak Hammock. We wanted a relaxed atmosphere and the resort delivered in every way: incredible lakefront views, fun games like pool and ping pong, and an awesome fire pit to hang around! The staff were also very professional, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Oak Hammock Resort. Our teenagers liked the game room and outdoor ping pong table. We fished on the catch and release pond, and our arms are sore from catching so many fish. The owners are fantastic and very helpful. The lake view is relaxing, and we enjoyed taking our dog for a walk around the resort. We can't wait to book our next trip.

We had a wonderful time! We brought our RV (with our new puppy) and a group of friends rented 3 of the cute cabins. Loved the getaway and will be coming back for an annual Friendreunion 😀 Cheryl and Bobby were so accommodating it truly felt like family. Thank you so much!

Such a beautiful resort, we had a wonderful time in our RV with our little dog. Gorgeous mature trees, very secluded and peaceful, with excellent facilities for all, including a safe grassy enclosed dog park. Perfect for families and especially young children. A grassy hill with lovely trees gives a panoramic lake view, and leads down to a fishing pier, with boat docks. A true gem of a resort in the heart of Florida. Such nice resort owners, so helpful, and you can be sure everything they describe about Oak Hammock Resort is accurate. "Relaxtime" indeed! Thoroughly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying here and what a great find. Family fun areas and very safe and friendly. I can see the smile of a first fish. Hanging out in game room with others. Fire pit. Wholesome environment for a great small mom and pop business. Make plans and enjoy!

This is a great find! Had multiple families her for Easter. Cheryl, the host, was wonderful, available and accommodating. The location is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and directly in the river! Wonderful small resort!!
