I’ve been coming to Oak Lake Campground for 4 years. The campground is nicely spread out with a lot of tree coverage and space. They are always having activities for the kids. I like that we can keep out ATV on site and the trails are close. The property is clean and kept up. The owners and staff are still friendly. Highly recommend for all who enjoy camping and the outdoors.
They are spamming ads all over Facebook for park models and trailers for sale with misleading or fake prices. Some $89,000 units just say “$300 we can get any color you want, message for details” while other ads have a 15 paragraph copy and paste word document of features of that model RV, and then at the very end it always says “features may not be correct or included”
Very beautiful and clean campground. Very friendly and helpful employees. Great place to go and relax and enjoy the beautiful lake.
Amazingly friendly staff! Clean and lots of amenities including basketball court, small and free golf course, showers, store with everything you can think of. We even rented a boat which was much cheaper than expected. We came with zero expectations but would definitely stay again!! If you’re passing this campsite on a trip make sure to make 2 days to check it out!!!
A few times a year I stay with my boyfriend's parents at their place in the resort. While the lake is sometimes stinky, it's always a beautiful place. The kids love the beach and everyone spends lots of time socializing with neighbors. Very peaceful at night.
