Oak Park Motel & RV Park

Not a bad little place but not much to it. They offer satellite TV but not much more than that. It's quite little area if you are needing a place to rest your head

There are new owners trying to get this sweet Motel back to a comfy homey stay. The room we stayed in was super clean towels were whiter than alot of places I have stayed and the bed was comfy. The decor is outdated but I didn't care because it was very clean. Can't wait to come back to see the progress and changes. I love little quaint places on back roads.

WARNING, STAY AWAY! I found BEDBUGS in my bed, along with ants, and, spiders in the room. In addition, I found other people's hair in between the comforter and the bedsheets. I was not in the room more than three hours when I discovered all of these issues. I promptly packed up my stuff, left the room, and asked for a refund. I was told by the manager (Zach) that, "the owners do not offer any refunds." The manager seemed unfazed at all by any of what I had reported, which leads me to believe this is a common event at this hotel. BOTTOM LINE: I payed $60 for a room which had bedbugs, ants, spiders, and other people's hair in the bed when I checked in, and, was refused a refund. This is NOT how you treat customers, and not how you run a business. STAY AWAY!

What a joke! Sean and Shane were the worst managers I have ever met. I couldn’t find anyone to answer the door when I arrived or answer the phone when I called. When one of them finally showed up he was completely drunk. I never received clean towels Or soap. When I complained about the service to them they simply told me that they own it and that’s how they want to run it. It’s really unfortunate because last time I stayed they had a really good managers it seems this time they’re gonna run through some bad ones again.

Can’t believe this place has 4 stars, maybe once it was a nice place, not now. It’s very dated, showers are useless as the shower valves are so old you can’t adjust them at all plus the mold and mildew in the showers might carry you away. Stayed almost a week because I had no choice. Never once cleaned the room or brought fresh towels. I could go on but not much point. Would never stay again and will never suggest anyone else stay there either
