We stayed in the A loop on one of the outer sites in our hybrid pod/pop up trailer. The sites were large with plenty of wooded space in between sites. The bathrooms were very clean with hot water and an easy to access utility sink. The sites were well marked and easy to find. Large fire pit and large picnic table. As it states on the website there are no hook ups and it is not suitable for large trailers or RVs. There are some trails for hiking right off the campsite. Friday night was not busy at all, Saturday was a lot busier, but B loop seemed the most crowded. A loop was still very quiet, however the menโ€™s bathroom did run out of toilet paper. Bring your own firewood, but if you forget you can search the surrounding woods for some. We would absolutely stay here again for a quick last minute weekend getaway.

My family enjoyed this campground. We got lucky we booked a camp site next to other family with kids. Lots of kids for our kids to play with. On Saturday night we heard owls near the camp host on loop A.

An amazing campsite. When I went there, there was maintenance going on for loop A campsite. I think that was the reason why most of the campsites were empty. The campsite has a picnic table and lamp post closer to the tree which worked really well for us. All the park rangers were very friendly and were able to answer all my questions about the campsite.

Fantastic campground, well maintained campsites. Patrolled by park rangers. Low speed around the loops, 10 mph (and people follow it), so people can walk, bike, and not feel like they are going to get run over. Decent space between sites, for privacy. Lots of trees for shade and hammocks. Family friendly, pet friendly, great for biking. In Prince William Forest, which is a jewel in the county. I am so happy I'm here writing this review ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ”ฅ

Camp host was super friendly and around the area so we felt safe. Many families with kids and dogs. The camp sites were separated but If you truly want to be "alone" in the wilderness no it's not the place.how however it gets SUPER dark at night!! Overall great facilities were clean and it felt like park service etc was making sure area was safe and clean. Would definitely go camp here again.
