Choosing Oak Ridge Park - SRA is a decision based on maximizing your access to the legendary Toledo Bend in a comfortable, professionally managed environment. It is an excellent choice for a variety of Louisiana outdoor enthusiasts:

This park is worth choosing primarily for the angler and the RV traveler who prioritizes modern convenience alongside premier fishing access. The fact that the RV sites are wide, level, and concrete with full sewer hookups is a significant value-add, particularly for longer stays—allowing you to fully enjoy your time without frequent trips to the dump station. The direct access via the paved, two-lane boat launch, coupled with the on-site fish cleaning station, makes it a true haven for those coming to chase Toledo Bend's famed bass and crappie.

While some past visitors have noted minor issues regarding social dynamics and poor cell/TV signal—a common trait in secluded, naturally beautiful areas of Louisiana—the core value remains the well-maintained facilities and unparalleled proximity to the reservoir. The park management provides great service and informative support, and the presence of amenities like the laundry mat ensures that all essential comforts are met. For a clean, organized, and amenity-rich basecamp on one of Louisiana's greatest lakes, Oak Ridge Park is a top contender.

UNSAFE! Full-time residents do not want short-termers or overnighters there and will actively harass and bully you. Gate attendants do nothing to manage the situation. You've been warned.

Great wide concrete sites, with plenty of space between RV's. The manager is informative and kind. The only negative is cell phone doesn't have a signal all the time and TV by air waves is sketchy 8 channel's at the most if they work at all. Bring your internet.

This place is pretty awesome. The boat ramp isn't very crowded, and the park is fun for the kids. The other campers are very nice, too.
