Beautiful relaxing camping experience. They also rent furnished RV's for beginner campers. Definitely a must. Highly recommended. Pet friendly
I stayed here with my best friend whose family has been coming for decades. The place is CLEAN and well kept. There are beautiful lots for campers or tents. Easily accessible outhouse bathrooms and very close to a lakefront bar/restaurant. ( they had fireworks on July 2nd). A downside or BENEFIT in my opinion is the lack of good enough to stream or surf or message fully. There are a few neighborhoods around the area that you could never find on accident because they are so well placed and tucked away in the wooded surroundings. You feel like you're in a very isolated quiet and relaxing place. If you have kids, looking at or for all of the chipmunk holes is a fun thing to do. They're discreetly located in the big trees and in the ground at the trunks. Within reasonable driving distance is a fun store called JP liquidators that has just about anything and everything you need and didn't know you needed! Along with a small cluster of businesses, including dollar general that are located closer to the campground .
This place was so clean. There were nice trails for walking or riding ATVS with the lake not far. Deb (the owner) is super friendly. Had a very great time and will be coming back.
We have a seasonal site at oakridge. Very reasonable prices and very laid back atmosphere with lots of fishing opportunities in the area
Friendliest owner and fellow campers ever anywhere
