After weather predictions of heavy snow and ice in the south the third week in January 2025, we altered our travel plans to escape it all in Ocala. Of course last minute plans and requests and a Federal holiday made it a challenge to book anything online or even have a phone call answered everywhere we checked. The local Wal-Mart does not allow overnight parking. The Cracker Barrel was VERY full and as we pulled down the road from Cracker Barrel, we happened to see and simply pulled in to Ocala RV Resort at closing time. We were greeted with a YES and that we could finish up the details in the morning. We simply needed a place to stay and this became our rescue in the dark. The people were friendly. Wifi was available in the lounge if needed. It was cold and nothing else was on our list. We are grateful for this Park and the graciousness they extended when we were at the end if our rope.

Places is a dump no wifi restrooms are trash water lines rusted in bathrooms and the pond has snakes in it it. Also the two grumpy old lady up front are very rude and disrespectful towards anyone and everyone screaming they will say there from the north just they don't care don't let me mention they have so small dog that was peeing inside the office and the old lady's act like they didn't see it disgusting place don't recommend.

Massive potholes on all the roads. Golf carts fly around not stop with nonstop barking dogs. Don't bother using the laundry facilities as everything comes out reeking of dogs. Seriously. Every single thing smelling like nasty dog. Clean your machines. They say they have wifi... But they don't have internet. Like two cable stations work. We attempted to address this issue with the lady working up front and she was aggressive and defensive so we decided to not ask anyone else about other issues. Also, as far as the customer service here I give management this advise: if you wouldn't talk to a judge or a priest that way, you're not speaking to your customers with respect. If your employees cannot talk to someone without yelling at them, they should simply not talk to customers. I paid for my stay there, I should be treated with respect. My family paid to stay here, they should also be treated with respect. Though I will say the woman we first dealt with during our check in was very friendly and helpful. It was the other one that was combative and rude.

We have stayed here before and wanted to come back, when I went in the office I was told families are not welcome. It's for mostly old couples.... funny because I had stayed here a few times before, each time for a few months and now all of a sudden kids aren't welcome but for a day or two. Very disappointed. Staff has become so rude and lazy. No wonder why not many people stay here any more. The managers are running this place to the ground.

The people are awesome and the park is really quiet, the ones who work here are fantastic, they are keeping the residents safe! Neighbors have been so helpful as we are new at this! I consider it a blessing to be here 😇
