Maiden voyage in the new rig i needed someplace where I could summarize it and run the systems through their paces. Thought I would enjoy a couple of days on the ocean. Pleasantly surprised by the campground. First of all it is absolutely enormous. 2000+ houses and almost 900 campsites. My only complaint is no fire rings. But given the density it would likely be a Hazzard. The sites are close together but all pull through. The staff is courteous but I would not use the term friendly. Frankly they all seem a little annoyed at being there but they are not rude. Worth the stop. We will likely go back in the future and spend a little more time.

I’ve been going to Ocean Lakes for years and recently decided to pursue purchasing a property. I cannot say enough good things about Brian Fiore. He was so warm and welcoming from the second we arrived at the Properties office. He took us around and showed us more options than we even knew were available online. He aims to get you exactly what you want. I would 110% recommend using Brian for any Ocean Lakes purchases. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed in a privately owned house and it was beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had fun riding around and exploring the very large campground. Access to the beach couldn't be better. The little coffee shop was awesome. Yummy baked goods and great coffee. Very nice people running it. We very much enjoyed our stay and had no trouble at all with any rules. The only thing I don't understand is the $15 per day parking fee. If you're staying in a house on stilts there's parking under the house. We also had a visitor once during the day for a few hours and they had to pay $15 also. Everything else was great and we look forward to coming back next year.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I tried Ocean Lakes for the first time in May of 2024. It was perfect in every way with location and amenities. I had such a great time that I decided to try the other two campgrounds next to them. I WAS EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED IN THE OTHERS. OCEANLAKES is by far the BEST!!!

First let me say I have stayed at this campground for many many years. Renting homes and campsites. The customer service is where is a major disadvantage. Never any grace on anything. Very rule driven. Had to check out a day early due to our camper heat going out. We rented 2 sites. Came in at 10:59 but because I didn’t have the site tag for the spot I was on they would not credit me the day due to our parents not being up there as well by 11. It’s 43 degrees out and we were there with one tag in time but no grace for anything. So I’m sure you will enjoy the stay lots to do. Just don’t expect any hospitality ever !
