The location is great. Close to Atlantic City and Cape May. It's a huge campground. There are no rental golf carts, so bring a bike. That being said, there is a lot of auto traffic. So be mindful of that. Everyone seemed nice, even the seasonal campers. And there is alot of them. I brought my dog, no issue there either.
I have been comming to oceanview campground since the 70's. I recently got back into camping a few years ago and now I have been going back several times and absolutely love this campground. This family really does everything right. To make your stay enjoyable. Close to the beach, great restaurants. This campground is extremely friendly and clean. I would like to see a dog park though. They really could teach other campgrounds how they should be managed.
We stayed in a tent near the bathroom, which was SO clean. No spider webs! Our site was flat and large enough. We basically only slept there, because we wanted to go to the Jersey Shore. We didn't explore the campground much, but it is huge! We would love to come back for a longer stay. There weren't so many people there since we came a little after the off season. Very nice place. It's about 20 minutes from OC and 5 to 10 minutes from Sea Isle. Also, only a Wawa and a Chinese restaurant to eat at nearby. There is a grocery store pretty close. No coffee at camp store in off season, so we went to Wawa every day (next time I'm bringing my Keurig ha). Highly recommend this campground.
Great campground. Loved our stay. Everything is super clean. AC in the bathrooms. Nice staff. The pool area is great with the little pirate ship. Only flaw we saw is that there is no concrete slab at the camp spots, so you get sand everywhere.
I love this campground. If you have a family, I highly recommend going here. We went over the 4th of July and it was great. There are so many things to see and do and it’s very convenient to other locations in the Cape May area. Great place to ride a bike. Only concern was that we had a dog friendly camp site, however there really aren’t too many places to walk your dog where they can go to the bathroom. Our site wasn’t dog friendly, meaning having a small grassy area. There are a couple of dog areas, but if your pooch has to go before, it could be in the street. They have a nice lake with a beach that is managed well but super busy over the July 4th. I don’t like the fact that some people would go to the beach really early in the morning to set up their spot. It should be first come first serve after a specified time period in the morning. Although, I may have specified a few negative comments, the objective is to notify anyone else going of certain conditions. Overall, I’ve given them 5 stars because of the niceties of the camping resort to include a huge camp store and cafe/restaurant. All kinds of activities for kids including movies, lake, pool, train/trolly ride through park and a special events building where we saw a magic show.
