Great campground, nice area, Chute pond is awesome for swimming and walking, also good for ATV riders as it's close to the trail system, can ride from your site.
I've been camping here my whole life. Always a good experience. Need more access to fresh water. One faucet didn't work the other was very difficult to shut off. Love the hiking and slide rock is very awesome. Well kept campground
They got hit with straight line winds over a hundred miles an hour. They are now open again.
Love this campground. We go every year. Only thing that is a shame is that due to the storm that hit a while back, many camp sites are a wreck. Many on the far side need to be flattened and just fixed up. There are no flat spots for campers or tents.
When there you should check out slippery Rock it's on the other side of the dam down the trail and to the left, about a quarter mile, its a water slide that the kids love,THE BIGGER YOU ARE THE FASTER YOU WILL GO.I would suggest no adults and watch where you step, it is SLIPPERY
