Place is beautiful and well kept. Not many sites with sewer and the dump station location was not well thought out You will wait hours at the end of a weekend if you want to pump out. They need more and not all located at the entrance/exit. Electricity was sketchy but I think that may have been isolated to my site. Maintenance response was “nothing I can do” so we could not use our A/C or water heater for the weekend. One of the nicest campground pool areas I’ve ever seen.

Excellent RV resort in CT with hot tub and well maintained facilities. Lots of rules but the place was largely clean, quiet and comfortable. The place is big, so you can find a more private spot or closer to the activity facilities. We opted for a quiet site in the hills. The only drawback is this bath has only 2 main bathhouses which can be a bit of a walk. I think they should add a couple of small bathrooms without showers to provide better coverage. There is no golf carts unless there is a disability. Nice that there is less golf cart traffic, but there is a fair amount of walking required if your site is not near the facilities. We drove our car to the pool (parking was limited and closer restricted to 15 minutes only). They pick up trash throughout the day (it may be better if they pick just 1 time to limit trash being missed and eaten by animals over night). A few things could make this place even better, but it is still 5 stars for a lot of good reasons: nice store, clean facilities, great layout, lots of amenities other campgrounds do not offer. See you all there in the future.

My wife and I stayed here with our 1 and a half year old recently for what was supposed to be a two night stay but we were having a good time and enjoying ourselves, so we decided to stay for one more night. We booked one of the premier cabins which includes AC, shower/toilet and cooking capabilities with indoor stove top and outside grill. This was mainly because of our little guy and we wanted him to enjoy himself which in turn would allow us to relax and have a good time as well. The cabin was super clean inside and out. silverware, pots and pans and dishware provided were all immaculate. Grill outside was practically brand new. Pool and splash pad were amazing (basically had the place to ourselves, we stayed mid week so the place wasn't too crowded). The lake was beautiful. The staff at the front desk were friendly and super helpful with any questions we had. We stayed off season so some of the offered amenities were not open yet, but we look forward to staying again when they are available. There are a lot of things to do for kids (boats, mini golf, playground and themed weekends). Overall we thought the place was great and can't wait to be back!

We have been here once before and enjoyed it. On this trip, we were quite close to route 2 and the traffic was loud. Site was not level. Attendant also brought me to the wrong site at first and I was almost done leveling when he figured that out even though I had indicated I thought I was at the wrong site. But he was helpful enough to help me relocate and assisted with me backing in. I will say again, especially since we were in and out a lot, and others have also mentioned this in reviews, that the wristbands are really annoying. I understand using them for theme parks for several hours, but if you're staying for several days or longer, having that on is a real pain. We will likely be back because this is a close location for us, but these are a few things that could use improvement.

I never write reviews but had such a terrible experience I feel it’s needed. First off they found the only cliff in Connecticut to place this campground. My son couldn’t ride his bike from our cabin anywhere because it was so steep and unsafe. He now has PTSD riding his bike at home. The cabin was so musty smelling I could barely breath and ended up staying the night at a relatives house near by and just using the pool since they would not refund me. The woman working in the store was outside smoking weed after fighting with me to put my bracelet on when I had it attached to my phone due to eczema on my wrists. NEVER AGAIN
