Off Map Glamping

Amazing place to stay. The staff, the owner and manager were very accommodating. We got there at 11:30pm and had to leave late morning so we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of the incredible grounds. They have miles of trails that lead into the forest. Tent was extremely clean. Also, it’s out in the serine countryside, but just 12 minutes away is the quaint town of South Haven that has nice restaurants and beautiful beaches. Thanks for the stay, we will be back in mid October probably!

I am a wedding planner & just had clients get married there on Saturday. I have to say this property is absolutely STUNNING! Additionally, they have amazing staff - they are incredible communicators, extremely helpful, and I would definitely want to work alongside them again. CHECK THEM OUT!

Off Map was so perfect for a family getaway, especially when the kids are young and you could still really use running water. The staff were fantastic, professional, and respectful. Touring the property and hiking around was a blast. The wedding venue portion is also beautiful! You can tell that they really care here.

All around great experience! Tents were roomy, clean, beds very comfy. They have a wood burner or multiple fans - great for all preferences! There are 5 bathrooms shared but also individual (if you get a tent without your own bathroom), they were very clean. Manager/ owner both introduced theirselves and made sure we were taken care. Area is very close to many unique restaurants; also very close to the beach! I will definitely be coming back! Amber Kressen

Off Map glamping exceeded our expectations. The property, tents, and amenities were very well maintained, cozy, cute, stylish, and clean. The owners and staff were warm, friendly, helpful, and attentive to detail. It was the little extras that surprised me, like the “happy anniversary” flowers in vase placed at the foot of our bed when we arrived, or the every evening community campfire pit with s’mores provided, or the blueberry and blackberry bushes and apple trees that you’re invited to pick and fill little baskets they provide, or the fire starter kindling “nests” that get your pre chopped wood ignited in moments within your in-tent wood burning stove, or the WiFi offered in the community barn so you can stay connected when you need to. The property is 5-10 min drive from downtown South Haven, so you get the restaurant, bar, and beach scene and also the country with dark night sky and stars abundant. The Kal-Haven Trail is only a few miles away so you can bike straight from the property to pick up the trail and ride into town. The cost was well positioned a little more than tent camping at the state park and much less than the hotels and B&Bs. It is family friendly with children and pets welcome.

I just left here after a weekend stay with my family of 4 and we already can't wait to get back! We stayed in the Deluxe Tent which gave us the feeling of camping in a tent but with the comforts of a hotel room (shower, toilet, comfy bed). The grounds were beautiful and allowed for quiet mornings listening the birds. We have two young children, and they were able to run around and get lots of fresh air. The location is within 15 minutes of downtown South Haven and has food options nearby. A few things to highlight: - The fire pit is communal and they do not offer private pits - There is a charcoal *only* grill available for cooking - Cars are parked a distance from tents, but you are supplied a wagon for back and fourth trips - A beautiful breakfast spread is included each morning - Friendly staff present for any questions - deluxe tents include a heated mattress pad for cooler nights If you want to be immersed in the outdoors, with the comforts of a comfy bed and shelter, and want access to Lake Michigan nearby- this place will be perfect for you!
