Hidden Gem! Reservations: May 17-19 2024 I found Off The Hook Campground by simply googling RV camping near me (Cincinnati, Ohio). Just 1 hour north of my home I went to their site and was able to easily select my exact site, pay and was all set. I reserved a full hook up site right by the basketball court, bait shop and playground since we would be taking our 3 grandkids (11,9 & 6). Upon arrival check-in took 2 seconds and we were off to our site. The site was large enough to pull in my 38ft class A (water, sewer, 50 & 30 amp). Gravel site with large picnic table & fire pit. Most sites are situated within feet of one of the 3 lakes for easy fishing/ swimming access. The electric worked great, the water did not smell like eggs. There is no wifi so be prepared to go offline or use your phone as a hot-spot for internet. Verizon worked well with 3 bars. There really isn't a bad site anywhere in the park, every site has a view of the beautiful lake. No highway noise, no rude drunk neighbor next door, just a nice relaxing atmosphere in the country. Park Amenities: The campground is beautiful, well maintained situated on a large patch of land in the country. The area is clean and well laid out. 2 large fishing ponds and a seperate swimming pond that has a man made beach area (really cool). The beach area is one of the coolest things we've ever seen at a campground anywhere, and we've been to a few campgrounds. The grassy area were cut and well taken care of, the park and basketball court had corn hole boards. The camp store/ bait shop has a few items to purchase but not fully stocked with everything that you may have forgotten but there is a Dollar General within 3 miles away. They also have a local pizza place that will deliver to the campground. They have 2 canoes that are free to use. The front office and camp store staff are friendly and seemed happy to have us there, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The bait shop has video games, arcade games, pool table, ping pong, tackle, baits and snacks. The young lady working the shop was very helpful in helping me with my fishing gear. Fun Factor & Vibe: I would say the overall fun factor and vibe of Off The Hook is pretty relaxing and not the typical loud drunk fest you see at most campgrounds. Everybody kept their site clean, not super loud music or overly loud people. Kids all played together at the park and as we rode our bikes though the park fellow campers waved hello. This is a place I could visit a couple more times this year. My grandkids ranked it as the 2nd best campground they've been to out of over 20+ we've visited from here to Michigan, Tennessee, Alabama, Indiana & Ohio. We've done ton's of KOA's and privately owned campgrounds and they ranked this just behind Coloma St Joseph KOA in Michigan which is a 5 star location. My wife and I enjoyed watching the kids play just feet away from our site. The beach area takes this place over the top for us, makes you feel as if you are on vacation and not just sitting on an RV lot. Do not hesitate to book a spot here, it is really one of the best campgrounds in the area. Rico & Tonia Booker (Cincinnati, Ohio)

This is our second trip to Off the Hook and Its just an amazing place!! So peaceful and clean!! The campsites are spacious and your not on top of each other , we had a group of 20 people and never felt cramped! There’s so much for the kids to do (basketball court, pool tables, swimming hole, kayaking and paddle boat, fishing, frisbee golf) they were entertained and busy the whole weekend! The staff is so sweet, your greeted with a smile and so helpful with any questions or request we had!! She even helped me out with my coffee fix 🤣🤣☕️☕️! Highly recommend this campground, we will be back for sure to make more memories❤️❤️ Truly a slice of heaven

We went for a family outing/fishing trip. The guys were very happy with the fishing, and the kids 9-15 had lots of fun swimming, playing uno, at the arcade, and pool. The bathrooms are nice because you have your own shower stall, toilet, sink, and mirror, no shared stalls. The campground has clearly done a lot of new things around there. If you are camping, make sure that you bring something for shade, as there were a lot of sites that didnt have tree shade cover. We all had a ton of fun while there and are absolutely looking forward to another trip back!

We can't wait to go back. At Off the Hook, there are lots of full hookup and primitive campsites around a beautiful lake. There is a "free lake" where all the campsites are, a swimming lake, and a "pay lake" for competitive fishing. We stayed two nights at a full hookup site and loved it. The bath house is clean and there is a clubhouse with an arcade, pool table, and tackle store. Our daughters opted to spend most of their time on the playground and swimming lake. We had a great time talking to the owners and caretakers. They're awesome and they're really making this place nice. We can't wait to go back. Some tips: - Bring lots of quarters for the arcade. - Bring your fishing tackle. Most campsites are right on the free lake. - Bring a camping rug/mat. Campsites are on a crushed gravel and you'll need to wipe your feet before getting into your camper.

We stayed at Off The Hook for 2 nights, April 1-3 2025. The Campgroud is very nice and well cared for, the thing that impressed us most was how much they were concerned for our safety. There were severe storms with tornado warnings for our final night, we received a phone call letting us know they had a safe building for us to seek shelter in if we uncomfortable staying in our RV. THANK YOU, Off The Hook for your kindness Judie & Jim Hellyer
