Another relaxing and very enjoyable stay at Ogopogo! We have stayed at this resort a few times now over the past 10 years and we have enjoyed it every time. Katherine and Todd are fantastic hosts and have made this resort a diamond in the rough, everything from the location, grounds, activities, services, and the accommodations are second to none compared to other places we have stayed at in this region. Very clean and comfortable cottages. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage with another family while playing at a hockey tournament in Haliburton. Communication with the owners, Katherine and Todd, was always very responsive. Check in and check out was very simple. It's a pretty spot with lovely views of the lake. I didn't get to spend any time around the resort outside of the cottage. I would definitely recommend Ogopogo Resort for a stay in the Minden/ Haliburton area.
What a great spot! We had the three bedroom cottage. Very nice. Quiet (winter). Lower deck was very nice on our last day when it got warm. Well laid out. Bathroom was quite small but did not present any problems. Fireplace, built in heater in the bathroom. X=country skis and snowshoes available to borrow. Nice communal firepit by the lake. People were ice fishing, kids had a toboggan run. Todd provided great service = very pleasant. Nice place to go for a family getaway. They had smaller cottages as well, which would be good for couples.
Loved everything about this place! The cottages are so cute. Beautiful waterfront. Lots of water toys to use/rent. Coffee on the dock at sunrise is a must. We went in September and the weather was gorgeous. Owners are very kind and helpful. Definitely coming back! 🖤
