We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this campground. It was so peaceful and beautiful! It was a wonderful place to spend a few nights. We read reviews concerning the road into the campground, but we had no trouble at all. The southerly entrance, maintained by the campground was just fine. It was wide enough and smooth enough. The rules are clear and the roads are well marked. Very friendly people! Highly recommend this campground for a peaceful camping adventure!

This place doesn’t even rate a star to me! Very disappointing and deceiving. Pictures are not current. I stayed there and nothing was like the pics or advertisements. If I didn’t prepay in advance I would have never stayed but ended up being stuck there. Everything is outdated and run down!!! There was dog poop everywhere. I stepped in poop when I was trying to hook our water up. They want you to clean your pets poop but have their personal pets running around. The guy who cleans restrooms walks in and maybe dumps trash and not clean. His own dog runs the property taking poop in your camp area and tried to approach us while we were grilling. Never ever will I stay there!!!

This was my first time camping with an RV and let me tell you this place was it. I drove 6 hours to this campground from NC and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. It had plenty of stuff for the littles to do from volleyball to cornhole to a cool sandbar in the river. They had stuff for the adults too . My wife and I really enjoyed the kayaking down the river . The bathrooms are really clean according to my wife and mother also they are very strict about cleanliness and the speed limit

We loved it! We tent camped and the spot we had was pretty large. Comes with a picnic table + fire pit. Bathrooms were clean (but I always bring extra TP incase their empty) There was live music Saturday night. You can rent kayaks or golf carts. Our dogs absolutely loved it. If you are into kayaking like we are - put in at 292 and you’ll kayak right up to the campgrounds. It was about a 3 hour float.

This place is honestly a hidden gem! We had a short but enjoyable stay. The on sight maintenance man was a little invasive but all in all it was a lovely trip. The cabin was clean and adequate , the camp store however was price gouging at it's finest but then that's what I get for forgetting the ketchup. Take your own firewood and enjoy the beautiful sandbar!
