Stayed 1 night coming out of Death Valley in Feb Very clean and comfortable room. Attached restaurant had very good food and crazy diverse menu for such a small place. Great views of the mountains. Wish we could have stayed another night. Service was outstanding.
Came here at the end of April, the weather was nice and not too hot. We stopped here for a quick break before heading to Death Valley. We booked a teepee and the decor was really nice. They had heated mattresses, but one of them wasn't working. And in the middle of the night, because the wind was so strong, the teepee canvas made a lot of noise, which made it hard to sleep. The restrooms were outside but clean. The view from the back of the hotel was amazing. The next day, we ordered burritos for breakfast and it was good and super big! Good value for breakfast :)
It is very rustic and has lots of character places in the rooms and in the small restaurant, with inside and outside seating. This was a nice quiet place that served good food. It has Tee Pees , some with 3 beds. They have single wide trailers with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths . Kitchen with refrigerator, stoves , cups, plates to do your own cooking if preferred The staff was excellent.
Just a couple of hungry travelers passing though. When we stopped here for a bite to eat, we feared the worst when we arrived 20 minutes before closing and behind another large party. However, the proprietor, didn't miss a beat, took our order and cheerfully accommodated multiple adjustments required for my wife's food allergies. The food was fresh and the premises were clean. Overall, great service!
Pretty quaint motel & RV park located about 30 minutes away from Death Valley National Park. They are currently renovating some of their rooms, which we stayed in for this visit. For the adventorous, try their teepees!
