This is a very nice clean quiet famcamp. There is some air traffic but if you don't love the sound of jets then don't go to an Air Force Base. Most sites do not have much if any shade which can be a problem in the summer so i suggest you drive through the park first and find 2 or 3 sites you like that are vacant then go to the office and they will ask if there is an area you prefer. Since it is first come first served you should be able to get one of your choices. There is extensive desert landscaping with mostly cacti and the park is very dog friendly. I plan to return often.
