Customer Reviews
We have tried, we have TRIED. This review is for the bar and restaurant only. Crap show. Horrible service. So bad. Horrendous. I'm sure their campground s great. But as a local...avoid the bar and restaurant. We've tried. Two years we've tried and it's the same horrible service. Paying attention, we now notice a common theme of workers, that's all I'm going to say about that. It's apparent the owner knows what I mean by saying it. Hiring brains and motivation might be a good start. Such a disappointment. We've loved this place for two decades. Last few years....not at all. Service is so bad.
Review for the restaurant: Had a great meal, the wraps are fantastic. Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap with the beer battered chicken was awesome. Service was great, quick and friendly
Charming. Good service. Tasty food. Love the atmosphere. The views are spectacular. Will definitely return when we visit our Minnesota family.
This place epitomizes what is wrong with our watershed as they’ve built a golf course abutting the river with zero buffer zone. The family rooms at the barn have no noise insulation between you and your neighbors, and the smell of weed permeates the space from the adjacent hostel.
Stopped in for lunch while bicycling the Root River Trail. The food was great, and the service was awesome!
