Clean, very quiet, safe and has the all around camping experience. Even the public restrooms and showers are so clean and well lighted at night! Definitely one of my favorite campsites!!
The campground was very well maintained. Nice pit toilets. The modern bath facilities are very nice. The Rangers at the Ranger station, where you get your car pass, was friendly and helpful. The lady that runs the nature store was friendly and always helpful. We loved this campground.
Stargazing and camping is great here. But beware of the cold weather and many spots to explore in the state park. Plan accordingly, download offline maps as signal's would be nill.
Very clean for a state park. The ranger and all staff encountered were super friendly and helpful. Loved the teaching on dear and the treasure hunt bingo for kids. Canoeing too. We had a great time. I look forward to making another visit.
Nice campground with clean bath/shower facilities. But be prepared for mosquito and tick attacks.
