Pleasant and private spot to camp on a dried up finger of the lake. Theres more then a few spots to set up camp; about three sites back in the tress and lots of spots out in the open. I stayed there in February 2022 in one of the spots in the trees. Gets three stars cause its free. Its a decent spot, but its the kinda site that is littered with bullets and some trash. I also don't recommend for anyone without four-wheel drive and high clearence. The road in has been burmed and was barely drivable on the way in with my Saab 9-3. I almost got stuck coming out.
Great place to spend the night. This campground had no restrooms.
Walking tent sites with great views of the lake. Plenty of shade. Dry camp with no services off season
Great large spacious sites, firepits, bear boxes, tables, easy access.
Good fishing when the lake is full.nice campground
