After picking up a RV from the RV Factory in Elkhart this camping is a good stop for an overnight stay. Very nice owner who stayed in touche with us via txt message to select our spot. Bathhouse was oké. Quiet and safe location and reasonable price.
I arrived very late at night, having taken a wrong turn and become totally lost. Fortunately, when I called to leave the message that I couldn't find them and would try again in the morning, they returned my call and stayed on the phone and guided me, turn by turn, to the campground. In the morning I discovered that not only was the place kept immaculately clean, there was a playground for children, a basketball court, and beyond a beautiful old church was a cemetery. There are several graves that date back more than 200 years. I often stop by cemeteries and reflect over the graves of people who have served our country, reflecting on what they may have gone through. There is a tradition of placing a coin on a tombstone: A Penny means a person visited; A Nickel means the visitor went to bootcamp with the decedent; A Dime means the visitor served with the deceased; and, A Quarter means the visitor was with the deceased when he or she died. Every generation of my ancestors, dating back to the very founding of our country, have served, and so I always carry a lot of pennies to place on tombstones, with the hope that some unknown relative might visit the cemetery and appreciate the fact that someone remembers and cares.
If you looking for peace an quite. While being 20min from town. This is that place. Highly recommend. They have a bath house. They where working on a laundry room when I left. But was a really nice an clean camp ground.
Just an overnight stop but the owner was very pleasant and accommodating. It’s clear he works hard to maintain the place. We were in 41’ motorhome towing a trailer, there was a large parking lot available to drop the trailer.
Nice quiet county RV Campground. Beautiful countryside !! Located about 7 miles from a Walmart supercenter....Logansport. IN. We could not have asked for better hospitality from the owner Scott and the surrounding community . We will be back!! Jimmy and Darlene
