Stunning sunsets. The hurricane has destroyed this family owned campground. They are slowly reconstructing 5-6 sites at a time at a very high cost due to all the updated building codes. We paid full price for our site to help with the costs to rebuild and spent time and $$ at local vendors.

Drove down to Keaton Beach with someone where his family had, had a place on stilts it was gone, after Helene hit. Very sad most the home owners didn't carry flood insurance, which doesn't really cover hurricane damage.

If you are looking for a place to unwind, unplug and be as you are, this is the place. We stumbled upon this gem and decided to take the 2.5 hour drive and stay in our new camper. It was hands down the most relaxing place. It was something honestly we didn’t know we needed. We brought our bikes, rode down to the beach, fished, cooked out and enjoyed the incredible sunsets every night. We throughly enjoyed Ms. Lynn and Spy too. All the spots had a view of the gulf, and everything was well maintained. Make sure you have everything you need as there aren’t any shops around or restaurants but to be honest it was so refreshing to get away from all the literal hustle and bustle that life has become. We will definitely be back and are so grateful to have found this gem.

This is an amazing place to watch a sunset, we had a water front spot and we completely enjoyed the views. Our camp host was very helpful getting us a place last minute. This is a remote campground with a few places to go, a small beach area 2 blocks away and a small convenience store 2 blocks in the other direction. They don’t take credit cards so bring cash. We only stayed 2 nights but it was perfect for a relaxing place to stay.

What a picturesque, quaint little spot this was to spend a long weekend at! If you need peace, quiet & relaxation overlooking the Gulf, this is it. The sunsets are spectacular and the site owner/manager is a sweetheart. We will definitely come back soon to this hidden treasure!
