"We've camped here 3 times now. Great location near Point Reyes, the beach and other great areas. Campground is well kept up, bathrooms are clean as are the showers. Most RV sites are Water/Power only, but there is a dump station to use on your way out. The loop up front has full hookups. There are also lots of tent sites. Check-in was easy and they have a small store with a few items and firewood for sale." - Satisfied Visitor
"Love-hate relationship? I can see what people love about this camp and dislike. I stayed for two nights, primetime Friday and Saturday night. I had a little bit of peace but not much quiet. It is a family-oriented campsite with kids running around and enjoying themselves. It was pleasant to see but not very quiet or relaxing. The only quiet I got was from 12 am-6 am. I won't be back, but it served its purpose. You might have a better experience during the week." - Visitor Feedback
Olema Campground is open daily from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and offers a variety of amenities to suit your camping needs. Whether you're looking for an adventure or simply want to relax in nature, Olema Campground provides the perfect setting for your outdoor escapade.

Love-hate relationship? I can see what people love about this camp and dislike. I stayed for two nights, primetime Friday and Saturday night. I had a little bit of peace but not much quiet. It is a family-oriented campsite with kids running around and enjoying themselves. It was pleasant to see but not very quiet or relaxing. It was loud with the noise of campers drinking into the night. I had to sleep with noise-canceling headphones. The campsite felt more like a tailgate parking lot with too many cars. Positives: staff cleared bathrooms daily, and the grass was green and level. The staff seems to have a chip on their shoulder, even when trying to be polite. The only quiet I got was from 12 am-6 am. I won't be back, but it served its purpose. You might have a better experience during the week.
I stayed 5 days and used the campground as a start point to the Cali coast, San Fran and Oakland. It was a clean and well maintained campground. Rates were reasonable. The difference maker here for me was the people. I had an issue with my camper trailer and they went far and above. They not only found me someone to service my camper but assisted him in fixing it. I was in a pickle, but they set me at ease and had me fixed in less than 24hrs. My thanks to: Roy Jose Andres Gabi You made it a 5 star.
Yes, people are getting Starlink and we may well also but a nice RV campground otherwise like this must have stable, fast internet access. It is a utility as important as power or water and this places WiFi sucks. Slow, unstable and the even bigger issue is, you can't rely on a phone signal either, nada, at least if you're on Verizon. So that is a big issue for us. The other facilities are excellent. Showers are big and hot. Laundry is outstanding. General store is also lacking as well but that is less of an issue for me/us. You can get that stuff at stores in Point Reyes Station, a 10 minute drive up the 1. Hookups are fine. There is a dog run. Grounds are well maintained. It really could be a great experience but without what is now a basic need, connectivity to surf and stream it's a no return for us unless I read they upgrade at some point. Update: We'd come in on a Tuesday off season so it was quiet. But then Friday the redwood rednecks showed up , loud and obnoxious. So final thought is, we won't be back but of you're in to tent camping and don't care about connectivity it's probably not a bad option for you. If you're in to RV campgrounds with great services, you probably want to look elsewhere
We usually stay at Lawsons to launch or boat but they were booked. Gotta say we like this place better, feels much more like a campground with lots of trees and grass. More of a family vibe and less chad and his bros drinking (which is fine except we get up early to fish.) Easy drive to a boat launch, quick trip to visit the cute town of point Reyes. They have a playground for kids and a very small store. Also indoor bathrooms and showers, and they were actually clean!!! We met Rodney who was newly working there and he was so friendly when he saw us wandering near the closed store. Super helpful guy. This campground would be epic with some small fixes. The volleyball net needs replacing and if they stocked that store better they would be bringing in $$$. Will def be back!
