Environment: The campground is characterized by a setting covered in mature trees and bushes, providing a sense of being in the woods. This environment offers a comfortable amount of space between neighbors for long-term residents. Wildlife such as deer and various birds have been observed, and the sounds of owls can be heard at night, contributing to a natural ambiance. However, one short-term guest reported that the sites felt small and crammed together with limited space on either side of their RV. This guest also noted close proximity to long-term residents and some associated issues.

These include Wi-Fi access, a clubhouse, a laundry room, a swimming pool, a basketball court, a DVD lending library, a playground, and a billiards table. There is also a campground store on-site for convenience. For security, the campground provides overnight security. The atmosphere is described as having a fantastic community feel, particularly for longer-term residents. However, one short-term guest reported that specific accommodation requests made during reservation were not met at check-in and mentioned an unsettling early-hour encounter with another individual.

Features: The campground welcomes all kinds of camper vehicles, including schoolies and rooftop tent campers, in addition to traditional RVs and tent-only sites. From observations, every site appears to have a picnic table and a fire ring. The location offers a balance of being close to town for convenience while still feeling like a wooded retreat. The presence of mature trees and bushes provides shade and a natural setting. However, potential short-term visitors should be aware of reports regarding small, closely situated sites and potential interactions with long-term residents.

I believe I was the only short term guest? I think all the other sites were filled with living tenants. Sites are too small, crammed together. I had no space on either side of my RV. My neighbor couldn’t put her awning out when mine was out. Her plants and belongings took up my tiny grass space in front of my door. She was not happy with me talking at midday, and let me know. Sketchy. I requested specific accommodations when I made the reservation, and at check-in, these were not met. I was approached by a man in early hours asking for bathroom code. Do not recommend for short stay travelers.

Spent 10 days in June 2024. This is a great place with WiFi, a clubhouse, laundry room, swimming pool, basketball court, DVD lending library, playground, billiards table, campground store, overnight security, and fantastic community atmosphere! All kinds of camper vehicles welcome. We noticed a couple of schoolies, and rooftop tent campers, as well as tent only sites. The whole place is covered in mature trees and bushes with a comfortable amount of cushion between neighbors. This is not a parking-lot style RV park where you are sandwiched in. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring from what I could tell. Close to town for convenience, yet feel like you're in the woods. Saw wildlife, deer and lots of birds. Heard owls at night. Would definitely stay again.

I’ve been camped here in the tent section for a few days & still have a few days left (maybe more) However the staff here have been very social, nice, & extremely helpful. Everyone I’ve meet, passed by or talked to have all been respectful. I Like to read reviews before I go somewhere. And in all honesty in my time here I haven’t seen any of the negative things that a few people claimed. The little store is convenient, bathrooms/showers are clean, waters hot & the people are welcoming.

Location is okay but I was not impressed with the customer service. I asked for a partial service site (electricity and/or water), the guy up front said he had 2 sites left with same but wanted to save it for people checking in tomorrow with RV/ motorhome. I said we were only going to be there for the night but desperately needing electricity to plug in our fridge but the guy still ended up giving us a regular tent site which was way too small and could barely fit our rig.

Stayed here for a few months while my husband was in the area for work. We showed up as strangers…totally lost with no idea where to go. When we left we left with a new family. Everyone was so helpful. They have AWESOME ladies working the store. Campground security is FANTASTIC. Never once did I worry about anything. Loved our full hookup spot and there’s also partial hookups. A tent section for summer camping. And the pool when weather allowed! The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the hot water was to die for. Our daughter made so many friends, with the kids and the adults. Laundry room was open during the day and great prices. I could go on for days about everything I loved here. Gas up front. Propane service. Game room. They even included us in their barbecues. Hands down the BEST location we’ve ever stayed at. We will definitely be back. I can’t say enough good things about everyone there. We have been gone almost two months now and I am homesick to go back and visit. Definitely stop in and stay here if you’re in the area!
