Customer Reviews
Quite a memorable getaway from the city - to think it's only 2.5 hours away blows my mind! You could easily spend 5 days here and that's barely touching the surface. I did the lake crescent and Mary mere falls hike which are both highly recommended! Very fortunate to witness sun during a cold Thanksgiving in the northwest - not too many people at this time of year.
Olympic National Park is in Washington State, and it is truly a beautiful place to explore. The park sprawls across several different ecosystems, and you will get to see it all from the lush rainforests to the beautiful pacific coastline. I would recommend spending several days here if not much longer because there is so much to see and do in the area. If you are a hiker or backpacker, there are plenty of trails with incredible views! We loved viewing the moss-covered trees in Hoh Rain Forest and it truly felt like you were in another world. We enjoyed the spectacular waterfalls and all the natural splendor in the area. Lake Cresent is a beautiful and peaceful area with jaw dropping views. You are the adventurous type, you will love this area because it has so much to see and everything is so green and lush! It is one of our favorite national parks that we have visited so far! Allow enough time to truly soak in the beauty of this place because it is definitely a sight to see!
This is one of my favorite national parks! So many beautiful trails and campsites to spend a day or weeks here. I went to Hurricane Ridge, the visitor center, and a few trails along Crescent Lake. The park can be quite damp and wet, so make sure to bring a rain jacket and waterproof tent!
This is my first time visiting the park and I'm impressed. I have been awed by the towering presence of the Olympic Mountains from across the Strait of Juan de Fuca but the landscape is even more beautiful up close. The stunning landscape here is full of pristine old-growth forest, splendid lakes and beautiful mountains. There are probably several years worth of hikes here. I'll definitely be back to explore this park further.
Stunning? Well, it doesn't begin to paint the picture of this place. From the temperate rainforest to the top of Hurricane Ridge, be prepared for some amazing views. Hurricane ridge is one spectacular hike. You will most likely see wildlife, glaciers, mountain peaks, rivers, ocean, Canada, and a few million trees.......! Prepare to hike and you will see some awesome sights
