Terrible experience. Overly priced in every aspect. You book a room that is the size of a shoe box for about 500 a night. Once you get here, you find out that the indoor pool is down for maintenance and the outdoor pool is too cold to swim, even though it’s suppose to be “year round”. Also, we are staying here in mid February and there was still leafs and debris on the outdoor pool floor. The shower faucet leaked for the entirety of the stay. The customer service is awful. Would never stay here again. The beds are no better than a college dorm room. This was a first and last time we will be staying here. If you come during the winter months, make sure you wear studded boots as the walk ways are icy. The outdoor pool’s stairs were not shovel and my wife fell on them. If you are looking for a hotel with a view, this may be your place. The views are amazing. Other than the views, I would be giving this place 0 stars. The hotel restaurant are trash and overly expensive. Everything else is a 30-40 minute ride from the hotel, after you walk 10 minutes to your car that you pay 20 bucks to park. So bad we honestly thought about cutting our stay short and heading to another hotels
Wow amazing!! I went for work Christmas party and it was over the top!! Food was excellent rooms were great!! I was shock at how much there was to do there. The decorations were beautiful. The people working there were very pleasant and helpful. I don’t think there are enough words to say how amazing this trip was. My family and I enjoyed everything there was to enjoy.
We stayed at the Mt. Washington Hotel for 3 nights right after Christmas and had a truly wonderful stay. We had a deluxe Queen room which was very large and had plenty of space for 2 pack and plays to be out and still room for our 2 children to play. All of the employees we met were so friendly, helpful and professional. My 2 year old son has severe food allergies and the executive chefs at each restaurant came out to talk to us, explain the menu, and made special meals for him. I was so touched by them taking the time to make sure we all felt he was safe AND had food he enjoyed. The pastry chef even made an egg and nut free desert for him (which is nearly impossible to find anywhere!!). Every server we had at the restaurants was friendly, helpful, and made my kids feel special. I snuck out one morning for a quick ski by myself and just missed the shuttle, and the Executive Director of the hotel offered to drive me over himself so I wouldn't have to wait. We had Britney for our sleigh ride and she was so sweet to my kids and made the experience really special. We went to the family fun buffet twice and it was such a relief that they set up the environment for kids to run around. They even had a tv set up with cushions so we could sit and enjoy our meal. The only weird thing was they included a 20% gratuity for all tables regardless of size and didn't advertise that. We absolutely plan on returning for the wonderful 5 star service, great (and allergy friendly) food, fun amenities, and fantastic views.
Wow! This place is absolutely stunning and will truly take your breath away. The moment you step into the hotel, you’re transported back in time. The building's architecture is breathtaking, showcasing intricate designs and historical artifacts that tell a story of their own. As I explored, I discovered a hidden room that has been transformed into a charming bar, nestled in the lower part of the hotel. It exudes a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The grand ballroom is a sight to behold, perfect for elegant events, and then there’s the renowned Bretton Woods room, which adds a touch of history and allure. And don't forget the pool. Interestingly, the hotel is said to have its own ghosts, adding an air of mystery to the experience. Upstairs, the formal dining area offers a refined setting for meals, while the spacious outdoor seating invites guests to relax and soak in the spectacular views. For those seeking leisure, there are delightful horse and carriage rides available, as well as golf facilities, ensuring that your stay is filled with enjoyment and relaxation. This truly is a magnificent hotel, rich in character and charm.
The staff were absolutely amazing, kind and accommodating. The grounds themselves are stunning. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. All the food was delicious. We cannot wait to go back. We were so impressed with this resort.
