Customer Reviews
I was raised in the area and went to high school here. My family has lived in the area since the late 70’s. This park has been here for years and never really looked inviting. My wife and I decided to purchase a large 5th wheel and put it on the lake. We looked at several parks in the area and decided to set our camper On The Lake. This park has made dramatic changes to the appearance. It is warm and welcoming. When we went into the office for the first time we felt like we had known the manager Rhonda and all of her staff for years. We absolutely love the park and the people that work here. The sunsets are breathtaking. I kayak and fish almost every weekend. The boat ramp and bulkhead are well maintained. I highly recommend this park for long term or a short visit. You will not be disappointed.
Full Hookups, River Views, and Room to Breathe This RV park stands out for its spacious layout, with distinct areas offering different vibes—some perched higher up, others nestled in the woods, and a few right by the water’s edge. The lakeside location is a huge plus, providing direct access to fishing docks, a marina, and peaceful views. The grounds are well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is inviting. There’s a restaurant on-site that stays open late, adding to the convenience. The staff is friendly and helpful, and amenities include full hookups and a propane station (though, notably, they don’t refill motorhome tanks—only loose cylinders). The only drawback is its proximity to a main road, which means some traffic noise during the day—but that also makes for quick and easy access. Overall, this is a clean, well-managed park perfect for a relaxing stay on the water.
My husband and I and my mother ate at your restaurant last night. The food was cold. The best part of your service last night was your waitress. When this place first opened up, it was really great. You need a better menu. We won’t be back anytime soon. You don’t have a restaurant it’s a sandwich shop. Also you could use a better cook.
Very relaxing and peaceful place. You don't hear the traffic on 190. Sunsets are beautiful. Good size pool. Lawns well kept. But there are lot of fire ant mounds on our site. Will for sure be returning.
Making reservations were easy, check in was easy as well…setting Trailer up was simple as well.we enjoyed having WiFi and internet…We enjoyed our short 2 day venture there it was beautiful…they have a swimming pool and Hot tub for our enjoyment and other things but we didn’t use them…we’re an older couple that just enjoyed the scenery and the beauty of the water…we watched the sunset each evening and watched the birds fish…for me that was amazing. The park itself is beautiful and quiet.I look forward to going back…They also have a gift shop which I got a T-shirt. The least enjoyable thing there was the restaurant, the food was horrible,my husbands burger was dripping in grease the fries for us both were just sobbed with grease to no crisp crunch at all…my okra was sitting in grease…it may have just been an off day for the cook…we will not support their services…we could have went to another restaurant ,but I wanted to support what was going on at the Beautiful Resort…Thanks for having us I do look forward to coming back and bringing family and grands. We’ll be cooking our own food or go to a restaurant out of the resort.
