Oostema Farmstead - Peaceful Vacation Rentals and Campground

A Refreshing Weekend at Oostema Farmstead Our stay at Oostema Farmstead was exactly what we needed to unwind. The cozy accommodations provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The meals, made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, were a real treat, highlighting the best of the region’s produce. Oostema’s commitment to sustainability and connection to the land made our visit not just a stay, but a truly wholesome experience. Can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Oostema Farms! We really loved being closed to Bellingham, Lynden and Canada to explore while also being able to experience a farm and the beautiful surroundings! The Little house was perfect for the two of us with such great amenities and personal touches. We would love to come again!

Our stay in The Little Farmhouse was perfect! All of the amenities were provided so that we could just relax and enjoy our time on the Farm. And we loved being able to feed treats to the cows!!

We truly enjoyed the peace, tranquility, and majestic beauty of our surroundings as well as accommodations in the Farmhouse Apartment. Lisa and Glen were wonderful hosts and we look forward to our next visit in the coming months. The Wagyu beef was also very delicious and we strongly encourage visitors to sample some of their locally raised offerings in the Farmstead Store. Again, a truly special place and very convenient to downtown Lynden and surrounding area/sites.

We stayed at Oostema Farms on our journey home from Alaska. We camped on the farm grounds near the gardens and barns. We opted for a full service pay site which was very quiet and private. They also offer Harvest Host sites which have no services and are located in the pasture. It was our first stop after crossing the border from Canada and it was a great place to settle in and relax after a day on the road. Lisa opened her store and explained their farming business. We bought several cuts of meat and look forward to enjoying them when we get home. She even let us pick vegetables and flowers from her garden which we enjoyed with our dinner in the camper. Definitely a great place for an overnight or longer stay.
