We absolutely love this campground! This was our first time staying here because it was full the last time we tried. We stayed at campsite 28 and it was very nice. So pretty and far enough away from other people. We are already planning our next stay!
Amazing four day camping trip!!! The area is absolutely untouched and gorgeous... plenty of firewood to keep you warm just laying around so don't forget to bring a saw. Nice sized sites that have picnic tables and firepit area. Plenty of trails and a cool natural slide/waterfall attraction walking distance from the campground.
Excellent campground! The sites were very clean with a nice sturdy table and fire ring. We had a creekside site and it was so peaceful! The restroom facilities were clean and well placed. The campground host, Tom, was attentive and informative! We did the hike to the falls and pretty much had it to ourselves. I thought it was well worth the $21 per night!
Site 25 is good for large family. We liked cleanliness of the place. There is a wonderful easy hike to a waterfall after site 22. We didn’t like barking dogs half of the night.
We camped in the forest to the south of this campground but our friends tent camped in the campground and loved it. I can tell you that the woman that owns the place is very friendly and has a great personality.
Still had a ft. Of snow so had to camp lower but the camp site at Ophir Creek were very nice as well as the Ower. Thank u for treating my mom so nice!!
