There are no rooms other than bathrooms and they were spotless. This was our 2nd time staying here and it's because of the beautiful setting, fishing, clean and friendly staff.
We love this campground. It is a piece off the road, but not bad. Off the locks, so lots of boats go through here. Good fishing , open for anyone to fish off the docks. Picnic areas covered. Paved RV lots, paved roads. They need to trim the banks though, hard to see the water traffic especially on front end. Rv lots are spacious, fire pits. Bath house kept clean one on each end. Reserve early, fills up quickly. Quiet at night except for some dogs barking, ugh.
This is a Corp of Engineers campground, well maintained and very clean. Go watch the locks in action when you're there.
Had a shared site 41-42 at the end, very quiet except for the excavation traffic next door, non-stop dump trucks. Ants were intense, be warned. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets
One of our favorite campgrounds. This is a Corp of Engineers campground. Beautiful sites by the locs if you can get them. Even if your across the road it's still worth it. When using your National Parks Senior pass, it's $15 a night. Includes electric and water. Clean and spacious shower and restroom facilities. We stayed in several different sites this time. #'s 47, 37, and 42. We couldn't get as many nights as we wanted in the same spot.
Loved it have been there in the past and is always clean quite and peaceful you can not ask for a better getaway
Lazy Days Relaxing by the Canal watching birds & boats passing by, Clean facilities with lots of room between concrete pads. Great wifi with glorious sun rise and sun sets. A destination off the map well worth finding it any time of the year
