There are about 6 campsites that are level and most have a table .. some even have benches that go with the table. The view is pretty awesome and you can stay 14 days for free. There is a lot of trash and glass but I would stay again. Rangers drive through frequently and it felt pretty safe.

It's a 14 day limit to stay here there's no bathrooms and no water plus it's free camping oh yeah and no electricity you can burn any trees that are already on the ground cutting down trees is definitely not allowed. The army corps of engineers are in charge and they are happy to help anyone out with getting questions answered. We'll it's summer now and I'm still in the area I got back here a day ago and I was told that they might shut this place down do to young drivers coming here and drifting and going way to fast for this gravel road if the rangers can get that stopped then they will be able to keep it open but they will be needing help with that.
This primitive area is secluded and quiet. There are two shallow boat ramps & fishing off of the bluffs are loads of fun.
The campground was closed. I heard from a guy that heard from a guy well you know. Lol well he heard that the campground would be opened sometime in the next week. Lol as grandpa says time will tell.
Very nice place to camp on the lake. Sites are large enough for a couple vehicles.
