Had a really nice time at the Oscoda County Park Campground over Labor Day weekend. Highly recommend to come and relax at this place. Also had a Great Manager who knows how to get things done for those who stay as a camper or visit for the day use. Keep up the great work.

This campground is a gem. Let's start with the camp itself. Lots are very spacious and are beautifully maintained and groomed. Bath house is clean and bright. Plenty of pit toilets throughout camp as well. There is a dump station on site with potable water. Each site has a fire ring. With plenty of games, a playground, horseshoes, basketball court etc, there is plenty of things to do. Nature trails and the pond are my favorites too. Being so close to the dam offers the best fishing. We also spend a tremendous amount of time kayaking, tubing and floating the river. This is why we spend our summers up here. This park is so conveniently located right in town but feels like we are in the middle of the forest. Supplies are at our doorstep! We are getting spoiled here. Currently there are no laundry facilities but the laundromat is about a mile down the road and is clean and well maintained with an attendant. It is in the process of getting some needed updates summer of 2022 as it is under new management. Jim, the park manager, is always out working in the park. He is prompt in solving any issue we have run into. You will most often find him wearing an infectious smile. The other staff members, Sarah and Hillary are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I've received several amazing recommendations for area businesses and attractions from them. All of these reasons are why we love staying here. We feel spoiled and Blessed to have found this gem of a camp. We look forward to returning year after year.

I visited Oscoda County Park with friends in their RV. It just so happened it was trick or treat night. Costumes and decorations for Halloween were everywhere. The park was clean and well maintained. My friends enjoy camping here often and it’s fun to visit! Happy Halloween

Some bathrooms were out of TP. Inconvenient. In Rustic west across from site 207 the resident owls will taunt you all night. They are just curious! Take a walk on the trail from the backside of the west rustic sites keep walking past the steps leading down to the lake, about 100 yards or so and a trail will lead down to the water front. There you will find this awesome rope swing!

Great sites. Easy to book. Beautiful spot. Lots of small spots to access the water. Will definitely be back
