Outlet Park Campground Loop A is located in the beautiful, natural 'Outlet Area' of the Melvern Lake Project, found on the eastern edge of the scenic Flint Hills region. The official address for the area is **Outlet Area, Melvern, KS 66510, USA**.

The campground is strategically positioned below the main lake's dam, which creates the peaceful and separate body of water known as the Melvern River Pond. I didn't actually stay here. I stopped to run the loop, the trail around the outlet is very well kept and was very nice. I would recommend walking or running this area if you have the chance. But the grounds for camping looked outstanding, inviting, and very well kept up. The facilities were Locked so I can't speak to if they were clean or not.

This was a great place to camp. Our spot was right on the Outlet lake. We had a great view of the water from our camper and from the firepit. There was plenty of space to spread out and the walking trail took you around the whole lake.
