Absolutely loved this place. Quiet, tons of space, great community. I felt included and just generally had a good time. Also great trails for a morning run and can easily get around 5-6 miles exploring them all.
People have been suggesting I visit this place for a couple of years now. 🌈 Seemingly conveniently located from i-75, but far away from anything and very secluded 😑 Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful property. Hundreds of acres. Hiking trails 🥾 Wonderful residents.🥰 Huge bar and stage building with a billiard table🎱. Bars and cafe only open Thursday through Saturday. (Limited hours) Only 2 dozen RV sites with hookups on this massive property, but it appears to be adequate. Only 2 washers and dryers. 🧺 And only 1 bathhouse🚿🚿. They do have some outside showers 🤭. Nice cabins and even a 4 room (separate) bunkhouse available for the budget visitors. Tenting ⛺is secluded up a hill in the woods 🌲 Speaking of in the woods, there is "Sugar Shack" cabin too😈
Simply the best vacation I’ve ever been on, I was 50/50 about this and this was just perfect! Customer service was the best, food was amazing and there is so much you can do. Beautiful views, if you just wanna relax, make new friends or if you are looking for some fun. They have everything. Never have I felt that comfy being my 1000% self. No judgment just love.
Coming to Oz with my boyfriend is always a peaceful venture. This most recent trip we stayed in a cabin with 2 rooms and it was great having the separation. I just wish the bedroom portion had space for a table on both sides so my boyfriend and I each had space for our CPAP machines haha.
Great place can’t wait to return!!! It was so much fun and relaxing in the sun/pool.
Great chill nude campground for LGBT+. Rustic with lots of trails and a variety of ways to stay! I come here at least twice a year to get away 🙌🏼 Lots of activities here. Gay Camping Friends gathering and an Art Show this weekend
Just completed a camping trip this weekend and it was fantastic. I rode my mountain bike on several of the trails, ate an excellent meal at the Cafe, had a few well drinks, and swam in the heated pool. Staff, residents, and fellow guests were all very friendly. This place is co-ed which makes it a good place for open minded couples to come and relax, no pressure as it's clothing optional. I stayed in a tent site and they were maintained and it was convenient to a restroom facility. It was also not a long walk or bike ride to the wash house which had nice showers, temperature controlled restrooms and a laundry facility. Bathrooms are also co-ed, but that's not a big deal. It's convenient to I-75 and I-16, and there is a city about 15 minutes away with more restaurant options and a food lion (Ice and firewood). I would like to see the tent sites improved with maybe a dedicated tent pad, pea gravel or sand maybe as a base and somewhat level, but thats nit really a huge deal. Definitely will be coming back again soon.
Predominantly a gay (but are not men-only or gay-only) clothing optional campground with cafe and bar. Picture is from the bathouse looking at the main loop of sites. They are full hook up. Tenting is further back in the woods so lots of shade. There are also cabins available. Everything is clean. Gnats are bad so bug spray is a necessity.
I do not normally give out 5 stars, but Steve and the staff have earned it ! Attention to details layout , pool.cafe rec hall.and.especially the bars make life easier and less walking back for drinks. All.perms.and.guests here only say good things about this large expansive campground with a mix of perm.sites, seasonal rentals.cabins and tent sites with electric and common.areas.and own restrooms The camp.was.also recently wired for fiber We will.be back !! A big thanks for the crew that mows weeds and trims.all the wonderful planting and flower beds theoughout
