What an amazing experience going home to my hometown! Loved everything about this place! The hosts went out of their way to accommodate to our needs! We actually stayed an extra night just to experience the beautiful land around the property! Love that they allow pets! My dogs felt like they were at home!!!
As a woman traveling alone with my animals feeling safe for my overnight stay is important to me and this is exactly how I felt with Joe and Linda as my hosts on my drive home from Texas.. My horse had a nice large pen right next to my trailer and they even invited me to sit at their bon fire that night! The motion lights around the sites was very nice for walking my dog at night. Great communication, and located just two miles off I44.
Joe was so accomodating. We wanted to make sure we could sit around a fire the first night we were there. When we showed up, he already had the wood piled up and ready to go. All we had to do was light it. Great place to stay. We will come back!
Joe was so great to work with for our horses stay during our cross country move. We even had an issue with our truck and he recommended some mechanics. My horse loved the outside pen and getting to graze the extra time. If we are ever coming through again, we will definitely be using them as our horses layover again.
Ozark Crossing was a great landing. Quiet, bucolic and clean, well kept. Friendly helpful hosts, nice animals. Maurice, an orange tabby, is always willing for pet. If your live stock need a rest from the road, they can accommodate.
