Very nice state park. Some spots are a little close together but many have room between your neighbor. Showers were nice and bathrooms. Short walk to beach. Nice walking paths in park. Dump station with water to fill RV. Water spigots dispersed throughout park for filling bottles.
One of the nicest state parks we've ever stayed at. Really nice bathroom/shower facilities with clean, private shower rooms. Tons of trails with incredible wooded and beach areas. There's a pretty creek right behind our site. Their play area for kids is fantastic and newer. We'll definitely be back again.
We arrived to camp for Father’s Day weekend and abruptly had to leave after one night of camping. The black flies were absolutely terrible, biting our entire family like crazy. Our dog was absolutely covered. Everyone else around us was leaving too. Really wish they had a warning as to how terrible they were prior to us a booking/coming. We love the campground and hope to come in a different season when flies aren’t rampant.
Love this park! Nature center is cool, lots of hiking trails and easy beach access. Grounds were clean, friendly staff. Kids had a blast in the play area!
Nice campground. Friendly staff. All the sites seem really nice. Can get super packed on weekends. If you have any visitors there aren’t any day passes available. Just $18 park pass. It’s a bit of a hike to the beach. The roads through the campground loops need work- which it sounds like the park will be getting some updates this summer- which will make it an excellent place to camp.
