Great campsites along the Taylor River. We have stayed here several times. Campsites 1-2 and 15-19 are adjacent to the county road, which has little traffic after 10:30 pm. Site 3 is our favorite so far. It is a walk-up site, meaning nobody can reserve it months in advance. Site 3 has a short path leading to the river.
Seriously an amazing campground!! Right off of Taylor River, big spacious sites for either campers or tents. Quiet even though it's right off the main road, no noise disturbance at night. Camp host Tracy is very welcoming and a lovely person who made us feel right at home! Bathrooms are well maintained. There is a walking path along the rivers edge and tons of room for kids to explore! Will be coming back again!! We loved out stay and can't wait for another visit!
What an awesome place for the whole family. Kids rode bikes , fished and explored. Mom and dad relaxed . Caught a bunch of fish. Thanks to Denise for being an awesome campground host!
Beautiful campground, nicely laid out with large sites, big picnic tables. Although the pit toilets are clean, they were not serviced in 5 days and they ran out of toilet paper our second day and have not been restocked. This is not a ‘free’ BLM campground so would expect the bathrooms to be serviced regularly. Otherwise a nice stay on the river.
The campground is very well maintained and the vault toilets are spotlessly clean. A few of the campsites are setup very poorly as they are just a few feet from the road. It gets real noisy when the trucks and motorcycles run up/down the road. Luckily for me I fall asleep easily and stay asleep. The campsites that are closer to the river are very nice.
