Customer Reviews
This is a super clean, well maintained campground with great fishing access. The hosts are really nice and helpful. There's ample room to BBQ with multiple covered picnic tables that all have grills. My only complaint is that the tent camping sites say they are walk in sites. However, the walk is very steep and you have to haul all your equipment up there. It's not for the faint of heart. I wish the description said "hike into campsites."
Excellent place to stay with a beautiful river running near the campsite. Plenty of playgrounds for the kids and restrooms. I wish they would have told us that our tent site was not that close to the car parking and you had to hike to get there. We weren't prepared for that and it complicated things quite a bit, especially since we have a big family and don't camp super often
Very nice & well maintained state park. Lots are all pull through & great for big rigs. Sites are concrete & nice & level. Many sites are full hook-ups. There is a very nice laundry facility that is clean & has a nice large folding area. Prices are $2 to wash & $1.50 to dry. There is a small play area for children & the pavement is nice & level for children to ride bikes or skate. The showers are clean & bathrooms are nice & tidy. However the water reducing is just that… “reducing” and such a small amount that is almost impossible to wash your hair. We opted to not use the bath house & use our shower in our RV. I was very disappointed.. it was like standing under a fast drip water hose. Note… I did check the other shower stalls & all the showers were the same. For handicap folks there is a nice large stall with a wand available & a large sitting area as well. The water is a slight bit more but only SLIGHT.
Everything that a camper needs. Price was good must do reservations. The tent sites are remote but they PROVIDE you a CART to wheel it out to your sites. PLUS the bathrooms are very clean. Potable water is available and a Fish wash off station is there to. The river is so nice.
Full hookups for campers, but too early (cold nights) to have water at your site. Two sites were open to fill tanks in the loop. Close to the highway but still quiet. There was a lot of cactus around the sites which was difficult with our kids (5yo and 21 months). No injuries to report, just had to be careful. The lakes were good beginner fishing spots. Kids enjoyed all of the play structures.
